During the Covid-19 pandemic, whilst under restrictions, we were awarded the “We’re Good To Go” certification through Visit Britain.

We have contined to maintain many of the precautions to ensure our customers remain safe on our tours.

Covid-19 adaptations to service

We reduced the number of tram tours taken in a day so the vehicle can be cleaned and all interior surfaces and handles sanitised between tours.
The driver was separated from the tram customers in a sealed cab.
Our on board computer system was enhanced to provide a live video link to the driver so that he can be both seen and heard clearly.
The on-board film was upgraded to show more of the insides of buildings which may remain closed.
Customers were welcome to continue to wear face coverings onboard the tram and when entering buildings on the tours.
Hand sanitiser gel and antibacterial wipes were available on the tram.
Tours could be prepaid and pre-booked on our secure website.
We were set-up for contactless payment at our booking office.
We asked that any customers who have symptoms of Covid 19 do not travel with us and isolated in accordance with health advice.

Guides meet-and-greet observing social distancing measures and will escort you into buildings.
