A booking will be considered as confirmed once full payment and completed booking forms have been received by Discover Buxton Tours and we have issued you with a booking confirmation. This booking confirmation forms the contract between Discover Buxton Tours and the client(s) and comes into effect from the date the confirmation is issued. No other tickets will be issued and you will need to bring your confirmation with you to show the guide.
Discover Buxton Tours will always do their best to accommodate reasonable requests to alter your booking such as a change to the names of clients included in your booking or, in the case of private guiding, a change to the itinerary. If there are associated costs relating to such a change, we reserve the right to discuss these costs with you and make an additional charge for them if the alteration is agreed.
If you have booked a tram tour then Discover Buxton Tours will offer a full refund up to seven days prior to the booking.
During the winter months, it can be difficult to get to the town and the weather conditions may compromise the safety of our customers. We will contact and let customers know if this is the case and we will offer a full refund.
When taking part in our tours you must abide by the authority of the guide. If you commit any illegal act or in the reasonable opinion of the guide your behaviour is likely to be disruptive, threatening, abusive, a danger to yourself or causing or likely to cause danger, distress, damage to property or annoyance to others. If you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol then we may terminate your tour without any liability on our part.
With Covid-19, we expect customers to follow any social distancing measures and to wear face masks when requested or when inside any building. We reserve the right to refuse to take clients if these measures are not adhered to.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who agrees to take full responsibility for their behaviour and adherence to any social distancing guidance and wearing of face masks, unless exempt.
Discover Buxton Tours will take all reasonable measures to ensure your safety.
We have full public and professional liability insurance.
We are happy for you to bring your dog on our tours, however, please advise us of this prior to booking, so we can discuss whether this can be accommodated – some venues we visit do not allow dogs. Registered assistance dogs are always welcomed.
If your booking includes food, please ensure that any food allergies and/or dietary requirements are clearly highlighted to Discover Buxton Tours at the time of booking so these details can be passed on to the business providing the food so they can see if they are able to adapt a dish to accommodate allergies or intolerances.
Discover Buxton Tours takes pride in the service it provides to our clients. If you are unhappy or dissatisfied with any aspect of our service please do raise the matter, in the first instance, with your guide, who will endeavour to resolve it. If for some reason the problem is not resolved to your satisfaction then you should put it in writing and send to our contact address or email us within 4 weeks of the end of your tour. All complaints will be fully investigated and we will keep you informed.
Photos of our customers may be used on our website or social media. We will always ask for verbal permission before taking the photo for this to happen.
In the case of school bookings, we will abide by the advice of the school.
Please note, photographs are not permitted inside the Devonshire Dome on weekdays until after 4.30pm.
By making a booking you confirm that you agree and accept the terms and conditions. Your order will not be processed without acceptance of the terms & conditions.
