We are delighted to bring you our latest podcast which celebrates some of the musical legacy of Buxton both past and present. We speak to Kevin Alsopp about his long involvement with the Buxton music scene from the early 60’s to the present day. We also listen in to Ric Bateman and Keith Walmsley Smith as they discuss the setting up of Club Acoustic and their desire to host a space where musicians could feel comfortable to perform in a supportive atmosphere. There’s even a conversation with the band, The Women, whose reminiscences have resulted in a long overdue promise to return to live performing!

We also get into the festive spirit with the star of this year’s panto Gabrielle Green in the marvellous surroundings of Buxton Opera House. So please press on the link below and settle down for some fun and warming memories.
