Festooned in festive attire, the tram will transport you on a tour of Buxton. But do not fret, you will be kept toasty with cosy blankets for your knees, a hot water bottle and a warming mug of luxurious hot chocolate.
We start your festive tour from outside the fabulous Cavendish arcade in order to collect your hot chocolate from Charlotte’s Chocolates.
We then travel up past the Victorian pharmacy of Clowes, past St John’s church and on to the marvellous Devonshire Dome where you will alight to admire the incredible interior.
Leaving there we pass by more stunning architecture and begin the slow climb to the old market place.
We then visit the oldest building in the town the beautiful St Anne’s church where once again you alight to see the interior beautifully decorated for Christmas before returning to the centre of town past the Famous Pavilion Gardens and Opera House.

My sister & I went on the fantastic red tram tour today, and enjoyed every minute of it. The tram was decorated with festive lights and we were given a fleecy blanket, hot water bottle and a hot chocolate with marshmallows to drink while our guide told was lots of interesting info about Buxton. Then we had a drive around Buxton, stopping to get off a couple of times to go in the fabulous dome building, and a very old church. Our guide, Nick was very informative and amusing. Would highly recommend this tour.
